Three Hospitalized After Cattle Trailer Crash on 10 Freeway [Tonopah, AZ]
Cattle Trailer and Car Crash near 411th Avenue
TONOPAH, AZ (May 4, 2020) – Paramedics sent at least three people to the hospital after a cattle trailer crash on 10 Freeway on Monday afternoon.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at milepost 94 near 411th Avenue around 1:30 PM.
A report showed a truck pulling a cattle trailer and a small passenger car involved in the collision. As a result, two occupants of the car ejected. No cattle were in the trailer at the time of the crash.
Paramedics sent three patients to the hospital. Two of the patients were taken by an air ambulance.
The westbound lanes were closed for several hours while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
