Man Dies in Pedestrian Accident on 215 Freeway [San Bernardino, CA]
Vehicle and Pedestrian Involved in Fatal Crash near 27th Street
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 1, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident on 215 Freeway on Friday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near 27th Street around 8:45 PM.
A report showed the victim walking across the northbound lanes of the freeway when he was struck by a white Ford Crown Victoria heading north on the freeway.
An attending coroner declared the victim dead at the scene. His identity was not released pending kin notification.
The driver of the Crown Victoria stayed at the scene after the crash and cooperated with the police. However, no other details are currently available.
