CHULA VISTA, CA (May 5, 2020) — A bicyclist suffered a leg injury Sunday after being struck by a vehicle in an accident on Broadway and K Street.
According to police, the unidentified bicyclist was in a crosswalk when the driver of a black Chevrolet truck began attempting a right turn from eastbound K Street onto southbound Broadway.
Reports say that the driver was paying attention to oncoming traffic before he pulled onto the street and struck the cyclist around 10:30 a.m.
Due to the accident, the cyclist sustained a leg injury. However, it had not been stated where the fault lies.
