17-Year-Old Dies in Motorcycle Collision in American Canyon
AMERICAN CANYON, CA (May 5, 2020) — A 17-year-old boy died Sunday night following a motorcycle accident at Flosden Road and Daniel Drive.
According to Sgt. Chris Pacheco, the accident occurred around 9:22 p.m.
The rider, whom authorities only described as a 17-year-old boy, collided with an Acura sedan after traveling southbound on Flosden Road.
Pacheco added that paramedics transported him to Queen of the Valley hospital in Napa where he died. Due to his age, authorities were unable to release his name.
As for the Acura driver, he or she sustained no injuries.
All lanes had to be closed until 3:30 a.m. due to the investigation. So far, investigators inferred that neither alcohol nor drugs played a role in the accident.
