Efren Ramos Fatally Hit by Driver on West Camelback Road Near North 75th Avenue

 
GLENDALE, AZ (April 30, 2020)—A driver struck and killed a male pedestrian Sunday evening on West Camelback Road near North 75th Avenue.
 
According to reports, Efren Porfirio Ramos has been identified as the 70-year-old victim who died in the accident.
 
Investigations proved that Ramos was standing in the street in the curb lane of westbound Camelback Road when a white Toyota Avalon, traveling west, struck him.
 
Following the accident, the driver stayed at the scene and waited for police investigators to arrive. Still, authorities have yet to determine why Ramos had been standing in the road in the first place.
