Several Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on Highway 18 and Pawnee Road [Apple Valley, CA]
Hit-and-Run Driver Sought Following Apple Valley Car Crash
APPLE VALLEY, CA (April 30, 2020) — People suffered injuries following Sunday’s hit-and-run two-car accident at Highway 18 and Pawnee Road.
According to Sheriff’s officials, under unknown circumstances, a black lifted GMC Sierra pickup truck collided with a white Honda Civic at the intersection.
Due to the accident, the Honda occupants sustained minor injuries; however, reports failed to specify how many people exactly.
The driver of the GMC never pulled over and stopped to render aid to those involved.
Authorities encourage the public’s help in identifying the driver of the GMC pickup truck. Anyone with information related to the 6:03 p.m. accident should call Deputy C. Sahagun at the Apple Valley Police Department at (760) 240-7400 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760) 956-5001.
