Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 710 Freeway [Compton, CA]
Fatal Vehicle and Pedestrian Accident in Compton
COMPTON, CA (April 26, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that a 57-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on 710 Freeway on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Alondra Boulevard around 8:35 PM.
A report showed the man walking along the southbound lane of the freeway when he was hit by a Honda sedan.
He died at the scene. However, his name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver in a Honda sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with CHP officers. However, no other details are currently available.
