CARSON CITY, NV (April 24, 2020) — Police responded to a fatal car accident on Highway 50 Wednesday afternoon near Bunnyranch Boulevard.
 
According to news reports, Carson City Fire Department, Lyon County rescue and emergency responders responded to the scene. After that, they located a major-injury collision involving two vehicles.
 
The crash that happened around 3:45 p.m. involved at least three patients who were deemed seriously injured. Due to the severity of their injuries, paramedics contacted two Care Flight medical helicopters, as well as a ground ambulance for transportation.
 
Reports did not specify how the accident happened or whether impairment or speed played a role. Details regarding the fatal victim’s identity were also unavailable.
