One Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Merrill Avenue [Fontana, CA]
Motorcyclist Struck and Killed by Truck in Crash near Laurel Avenue
FONTANA, CA (April 21, 2020) – Authorities confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle crash in the 17900 block of Merrill Avenue on Tuesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Laurel Avenue around 7:57 PM.
The Fontana Police Department and the San Bernardino County Fire Department a truck struck the victim.
Officers found the rider lying in the middle of the street. Emergency medical responders pronounced the unidentified rider dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with an investigation. However, no other details were released.
