Angelique Starks, Woman Die in Single-Vehicle Accident at Dakota and 25th Streets
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 23, 2020)—A 28-year-old woman was among two people who died in Tuesday’s single-vehicle accident at Dakota and 25th streets.
According to police, officers received word about the crash around 7:21 p.m. Upon responding, they found a silver Nissan SUV that had crashed through a fence at the intersection and traveled down a hill before stopping in a parking lot.
The medical examiner’s office confirmed that 28-year-old Angelique Starks died in the incident. A second person, whose name has not been released, also died. In addition, a dog was killed in the accident.
A third passenger, only described as a man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, yet no other details followed.
According to a tweet by the San Francisco Fire officials, the car plunged about 200 feet after slamming through the fence.
However, it is still unclear as to what led to the accident. In addition, police do not know if the car was speeding or if other factors played a role. Witnesses with information should call local authorities.
To the families and friends of Angelique Starks and the other victim, we would like to send our sympathies to you and hope you find courage during this time.
