Laura White Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Valley View Street and Lampson Avenue

 
GARDEN GROVE, CA (April 23, 2020)—A woman died following Wednesday’s pedestrian accident at Valley View Street and Lampson Avenue.
 
According to the Garden Grove Police Department, the accident took place around 6:45 a.m. The Orange County Fire Authority received word about a pedestrian-involved incident that befell in the area.
 
Per police, a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck attempted a right turn to travel east when it struck 64-year-old Laura White, of Garden Grove.
 
As a result of the impact, White sustained grave injuries and succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, the 39-year-old Chevrolet driver stayed on site and cooperated with the police.
 
According to officers, the driver demonstrated no signs of impairment as they ruled out DUI as a possible factor; however, an ongoing investigation regarding what drove the crash remains.
