Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 405 Freeway [Inglewood, CA]

Unidentified Pedestrian Struck and Killed near Century Boulevard in Inglewood

INGLEWOOD, CA (January 25, 2021) – Early Monday morning, a person was killed in a pedestrian accident on the 405 Freeway.

Inglewood Police received dispatch calls around 5:02 a.m., about a serious pedestrian versus auto accident.

According to reports, a vehicle struck the unidentified pedestrian in the northbound lanes. However, the events leading up to the collision are unclear.

A SigAlert was issued in the area at 5:32 a.m. The identities of those involved have not yet been provided.

At this time, Inglewood Police encourage witness to contact their offices. An investigation remains ongoing.
