1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Howland Drive [Inglewood, CA]

Fatal Multi-Car Accident on Prairie Avenue in Inglewood

INGLEWOOD, CA (January 15, 2021) – One person was killed late Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on Howland Drive.

According to reports, two vehicles were said to be involved. Officers arrived near Prairie Avenue around 4:20 p.m., after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.

As a result of the impact, one person was pronounced dead on scene. In addition, crews had to use specialized tools to remove a trapped victim from the vehicle.

At this time, the names of those involved have not been released. Inglewood Police are still investigating the accident.

The area was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has been reopened to the public.
