ELMA, WA (January 1, 2021) – Police are now looking for a hit-and-run driver involved in a pedestrian crash on Highway 12 early Friday evening.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at the Eagles Landing entrance around 5:10 PM.
Based on reports, officers found the pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle down on the road. However, the driver fled the scene before heading eastbound toward Oakville.
At this time, the condition of the pedestrian is not yet known. However, more information will be released once available.
Police are now looking for the late 90s Honda with a loud exhaust, yellow headlights, with possible front end/hood damage. In addition, they ask anyone with information to call 360-482-3131.
