Man Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Market Street [San Diego, CA]
Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Vehicle on Market Street in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 2, 2021) – A man suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash in the 2000 block of Market Street on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 3:35 AM.
Based on a report, the 46-year-old man was walking across the street southbound at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a westbound minivan struck him.
As a result, the victim suffered a broken leg in the incident. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of his broken right femur.
No other details are available. At this point, the San Diego Police Department is still investigating the case.
