One Hospitalized after Bicycle Crash on De Anza Boulevard [Cupertino, CA]

CUPERTINO, CA (December 9, 2020) – Emergency crews transported one person to the hospital after a bicycle crash on De Anza Boulevard on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Bollinger Street around 04:05 PM.
Based on a report, the victim collided with a car in the lanes. However, the details that led to the accident were not immediately available.
As a result, San Jose police said the cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident. Medics sent the victim to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car stopped on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. As of today, officers don’t have additional details about the collision.
