Person Dies in Albuquerque Pedestrian Accident
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (December 17, 2020)—One person died in Tuesday’s pedestrian accident on the 40 Freeway near Mile Marker 139.
According to news reports, a commercial vehicle struck a pedestrian under unclear circumstances.
The deadly crash that happened 10 miles west of Albuquerque left the roadways closed due to the investigation.
Per officers, alcohol did not appear to have played a role in the accident, but detectives remain vigilant in establishing a cause.
