Aaron Iribe Hospitalized in Single-Car Crash on 233rd Street East Near Avenue U

 
LLANO, CA (December 15, 2020)—A Sunday DUI car accident on 233rd Street East near Avenue U left one man dead and another seriously injured.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the solo-car accident took place around 3:30 a.m.
 
For DUI-related reasons, a 19-year-old driver of a 2016 Polaris Razor made a left turn, causing the northbound vehicle to overturn. As a result, the car came to a rest on its right side, in a field where the driver sustained serious injuries and died moments later.
 
Per reports, 35-year-old Aaron Iribe of Oakland sustained major injuries in the accident. Soon after arriving, paramedics shuttled him to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
 
According to a preliminary investigation, CHP officers determined that drugs and alcohol played a role in the deadly crash.
