Hit-and-Run Driver Sought after Pedestrian Crash on Snow Road near Coffee Road in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 8, 2020) – A man suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Snow Road on Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Coffee Road around 09:25 AM.
Based on a report, officers received a call about a collision involving a pedestrian on Snow Road. When officers arrived, they found a man lying in the roadway. However, the vehicle that struck the victim already fled the scene.
As a result, the pedestrian sustained major injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to Kern Medical for treatment.
An initial report showed the suspect vehicle was a pickup truck with large boxes in the back. At this point, an investigation into the case is still ongoing.
