One Killed in Pedestrian Crash on East Rosecrans Avenue [East Compton, CA]

Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on East Rosecrans Avenue near South Atlantic Avenue in East Compton

 
EAST COMPTON, CA (December 12, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian crash on East Rosecrans Avenue on Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near South Atlantic Avenue shortly before 10:40 PM.
 
Based on a report, a white Nissan Altima struck the pedestrian in the lanes. However, the details that led to the accident were not immediately available.
 
As a result, the victim died at the scene. As of now, officials have not yet released the victim’s identity.
 
There was no other information available. At this time, the CHP is still investigating the case.
