Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Normandie Avenue [Gardena, CA]

Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Normandie Avenue near 168th Street in Gardena

 
GARDENA, CA (December 12, 2020) – Police confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident in the 16900 block of Normandie Avenue on Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near 168th Street shortly after 06:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, an unidentified vehicle struck the victim. However, the details that led to the accident were not immediately available.
 
As a result, when the first responders arrived, they located the pedestrian with serious injuries. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital. Unfortunately, he later died of his injuries. As of now, officers have not yet released the victim’s identity pending kin notification.
