One Killed, Two Injured in Head-On Crash on Avalon Parkway [Perris, CA]
Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Head-On Crash on Avalon Parkway near Bradley Road in Perris
PERRIS, CA (December 7, 2020) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a head-on crash on Avalon Parkway on early Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Bradley Road around 12:30 AM.
Based on a report, a gray Jaguar and a white Dodge Caliber collided head-on. However, the details that led to the accident were not immediately available. Deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station, along with Cal Fire-Riverside and AMR found both vehicles with major front-end damage, trapping the drivers and sole occupants inside.
As a result, the driver of the Dodge suffered critical injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name pending notification of the man’s family. The driver of the Jaguar suffered major injuries. Medics transported the victim by ground ambulance to an area hospital.
Members of the Perris Station’s Traffic Reconstruction Team responded to the location and assumed the investigation. In addition, officials ask anyone who has information to call the Perris Sheriff’s Station at (951) 210-1068.
