Single Vehicle Involved in Fatal Crash on 5 Freeway near Hollywood Way in Burbank

 
BURBANK, CA (November 26, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in a solo-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway on Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Hollywood Way at approximately 1:05 AM.
 
Based on a report, the unidentified vehicle crashed into the center divider close to a construction zone near the intersection. However, the details that led to the incident were not immediately available.
 
Firefighters and paramedics found one person at the scene. Later on, an attending coroner declared the person dead. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name pending kin notification.
 
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the case. However, officials don’t have additional information to share.
