20-Year-Old Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Spring Valley DUI Crash
SPRING VALLEY, CA (December 9, 2020) – Police arrested Dana Marie Gobble for DUI after a pedestrian crash on Highway 125 on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Jamacha Boulevard shortly before 9:30 AM.
Based on a report, Gobble was driving a 2020 Ford Fiesta northbound on the highway prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, she drifted off the roadway. Subsequently, her vehicle struck a 20-year-old pedestrian who was walking toward a road construction site to deliver some equipment.
As a result, the victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics took the man to Scripps Memorial Hospital in San Diego for treatment.
Later on, officers arrested 56-year-old Dana Marie Gobble of Spring Valley on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
