Man Dies in Thousand Oaks Pedestrian Accident
THOUSAND OAKS, CA (December 8, 2020)—A pedestrian perished Saturday after being hit by a vehicle on Thousand Oaks Boulevard near South Skyline Drive.
According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the pedestrian crash happened outside of a marked crosswalk.
Under unclear circumstances, a 66-year-old woman heading eastbound struck the man who tried crossing in an unknown direction.
Following the accident, the driver stayed at the scene and waited for investigators to arrive. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the seriously injured man to an area hospital where he died.
