One Airlifted after Motorcycle Crash on Highway 1 [Bodega Bay, CA]
Motorcyclist Injured after Colliding with Van on Highway 1 in Bodega Bay
BODEGA BAY, CA (December 3, 2020) – Emergency crews transported one person to the hospital after a motorcycle crash on Highway 1 on Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 12:58 PM.
Based on a report, the victim was driving a black Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on the road prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it crossed into the southbound lane and struck a silver Mercedes Sprinter van.
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered head trauma, facial lacerations, and a fractured wrist. Emergency crews used a helicopter to transport the victim to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
No other information about the crash was immediately available. However, the CHP continues to investigate the case.
