Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car in Arleta

 
ARLETA, CA (November 24, 2020)—A pedestrian died Monday after being struck by a vehicle on the 5 Freeway at the Terra Bella Street on-ramp.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 5 a.m.
 
Under unclear circumstances, at least one car struck the male pedestrian, prompting authorities to close several right lanes shortly thereafter.
 
At this point, the identity of the victim and the circumstances leading to the crash require more investigation by detectives. However, if anyone has more information, please contact the CHP.
