Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 23, 2020)—A 61-year-old man died Thursday following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Health Center Drive near Front Street.
According to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred around 5:40 p.m.
The unidentified victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment; however, despite having received life-saving efforts, the 61-year-old died at the hospital.
At this time, authorities have no information on the suspect’s identity or whereabouts. If anyone has information about this crash that took place outside of Sharp Memorial Hospital, please call 858-495-7800.
