Jose Gonzales Survives Deadly Two-Car Collision on Highway 137 Near Road 24

 
TULARE, CA (November 23, 2020) — A head-on collision Friday morning on Highway 137 near Road 24 claimed a 20-year-old man’s life.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident befell around 2:15 a.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a GMC Sierra pickup and a Subaru BRZ collided on the highway. As a result, the 20-year-old driver of the Subaru passed away at the scene.
 
According to news reports, paramedics brought Jose Gonzales, the GMC driver, to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with major injuries.
 
At this time, more investigation is needed for authorities to determine the ultimate cause of the accident. Thus far, detectives have ruled out impairment as a possible source.
