Rebecca Pulling Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Walnut Creek
WALNUT CREEK, CA (November 16, 2020) – Authorities identified Rebecca Pulling as the woman who died in a pedestrian crash on 680 Freeway on Monday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Treat Boulevard at approximately 10:49 PM.
Based on a report, the woman was walking on the highway at the time of the crash. A worker in a highway construction zone reported to the CHP that a Chrysler Sebring struck the victim.
As a result, the victim died at the scene. The Contra Costa County coroner’s office identified her as a 42-year-old Lafayette resident.
Officers closed all southbound lanes for a few hours while police investigated the area. As of today, no other details are available.
