William Cromwell Arrested after Head-On Crash on Sutter Road [McKinleyville, CA]
8-Year-Old Girl Airlifted after Head-On Crash on Sutter Road near Weirup Lane in McKinleyville
MCKINLEYVILLE, CA (November 15, 2020) – Police arrested William Cromwell following a head-on crash on Sutter Road on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Weirup Lane around 6:45 PM.
Based on a report, Cromwell was driving westbound while approaching Weirup when he allowed his truck to travel into the eastbound lane of Sutter. Subsequently, his vehicle collided head-on with a Jeep.
As a result, a passenger in the Jeep sustained serious injuries in the incident. Medics airlifted the 8-year-old girl to the hospital for treatment.
Later on, police arrested Cromwell, a 29-year-old Santa Barbara resident on suspicion of DUI.
