One Injured in Car Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer on Highway 395 [Victorville, CA]
Car T-Boned by Tractor-Trailer on Highway 395 near Bear Valley Road in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, CA (November 11, 2020) – Medics airlifted one person to the hospital following a car crash involving a tractor-trailer on Highway 395 on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Bear Valley Road around 3:10 PM.
Based on a report, a white Honda Civic was westbound on Bear Valley Road when it entered the intersection after a green light. Due to unknown reasons, the tractor-trailer t-boned the car.
Victorville City firefighters extricated the male driver inside the car using the jaws of life. Subsequently, they requested a helicopter to send the victim to a trauma center. Information on his condition was not immediately available.
The driver of the semi stopped at the scene and cooperated with officers from the Victorville Police Department. At this point, they are still investigating the case. In addition, they ask anyone with information to call 760-241-2911.
