Alberto Fernande Detained Following Pasadena Pedestrian Accident
PASADENA, CA (November 16, 2020) — A 64-year-old man died Friday night in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Orange Grove Boulevard and North Marengo Avenue.
According to Pasadena Police, the crash happened around 9:00 p.m. when a driver fatally struck the 64-year-old pedestrian and fled the scene.
Hours after, police found Alberto Fernandez, of Victorville, in Monrovia and arrested him at 12:56 a.m.
According to news reports, Pasadena Police are holding him on a $100,000 bail. However, the cause of the crash remains unclear at this time and anyone with information should contact the police department.
