Officer Injured in 5-Car Crash on 40 Freeway at Tramway Boulevard Northeast [Albuquerque, NM]
Injuries Reported in Albuquerque 5-Car Pileup
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (October 30, 2020) — A five-car crash on the 40 Freeway westbound at Tramway Boulevard Northeast resulted in injuries.
According to police, the five-car accident involved a semi-truck and an Albuquerque police department patrol vehicle. Per statements, the officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the accident.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash, which shut down the area around 1:00 p.m., remain unclear. However, witnesses who can help authorities at this time should call the APD.
