Boon Thao Dies, David Loux Hurt in Clovis Head-On Collision

 
CLOVIS, CA (November 9, 2020) — A 31-year-old man died in a head-on accident Saturday on North Minnewawa Avenue near East Shepherd Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the accident that happened around 5:30 a.m. claimed Boon Thao‘s life.
 
For unknown reasons, Thao’s Honda SUV veered from the southbound to the northbound lanes, where it struck a Cadillac SUV.
 
As a result, firefighters had to free 31-year-old Thao from his Honda after he’d been pinned in the wreckage; however, Thao died shortly after and 83-year-old David Loux sustained minor injuries in the accident.
 
At this time, investigators have not yet confirmed the ultimate causes of the crash but encourage witnesses with information to come forward.
