3-Year-Old Boy Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver on 35th Street near North Sierra Way in San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (October 31, 2020) – A GoFundMe page identified Richard Martinez as the toddler who suffered critical injuries in a pedestrian accident on 35th Street on Halloween night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near North Sierra Way at approximately 8:15 PM.
Based on a report, the 3-year-old boy was trick-or-treating at the time of the crash. Due to unknown circumstances, a silver Toyota Camry struck him. Subsequently, the driver fled the area without rendering aid to the victim.
Emergency crews transported the boy to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.
