1 Dead in Rollover Crash on 80 Freeway Near Painted Rock Road [Sparks, NV]
Deadly Solo-Car Crash in Sparks
SPARKS, NV (October 30, 2020)—One person died Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover accident on the 80 West Freeway at Painted Rock Road.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, two people riding in the car were traveling westbound on the freeway.
However, as the vehicle reached the Painted Rock Road interchange around 2:43 p.m., the vehicle overturned and ejected one person from the cabin.
As a result, the victim died at the scene and the other person sustained unknown injuries.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation. Although, anyone who can help authorities determine the cause of the accident should contact the NHP.
