Marlon Armstrong Involved in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 210 Freeway [Rialto, CA]
Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on 210 Freeway near Alder Avenue in Rialto
RIALTO, CA (October 25, 2020) – Police identified Marlon Armstrong as the driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on 210 Freeway on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on Alder Avenue at approximately 1:55 AM.
Based on a report, the victim was walking on the eastbound lanes of the freeway at the time of the crash. Subsequently, a black 1999 Nissan Maxima struck him. 30-year-old Marlon Armstrong from Moreno Valley was the driver of the car.
As a result, emergency medical personnel from the San Bernardino County coroner’s office pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. In the meantime, the identity of the deceased is not yet available.
At this time, the collision is still under investigation. However, officers don’t have additional information. In addition, officers ask anyone with information to contact the San Bernardino CHP Office at (909) 383-4247.
