Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Pioneer Highway [Arlington, WA]
Car and Motorcycle Involved in Crash on Pioneer Highway near Smokey Point in Arlington
ARLINGTON, WA (October 25, 2020) – Police confirmed that a 50-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Pioneer Highway on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Smokey Point around 3:00 PM.
Based on a report, the victim’s motorcycle was speeding and trying to pass several vehicles prior to the crash. Due to an unknown circumstance, he collided with a car.
Emergency crews initially transported the victim to the hospital. Unfortunately, the victim died of his injuries. No one in the car was hurt in the incident. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office did not yet release the identity of the victim.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the case.
