Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on 80 Freeway Near Gold Ranch Road [Reno, NV]
Fatal Reno Accident on 80 Freeway
RENO, NV (October 13, 2020) — One person died following a motorcycle accident on 80 Freeway westbound near Gold Ranch Road, reports say.
According to the California Highway Patrol, troopers responded to the westbound side of the freeway and reduced traffic to one lane after a motorcyclist had collided with a white pickup truck.
Per statements, the rider slid under the white pickup truck and at least one person sustained unknown injuries.
According to reports, the driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene for police investigations, which proved that speed most likely played a factor; however, on whose part remains unclear at this time.
Still, the circumstances of the accident on 80 Freeway are unknown. Although, if anyone can help authorities determine the events that took place here, please call the CHP.
We would like to send our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and friends of the victim.
