Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Motorcycle Crash on Lantana Drive in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 14, 2020) – A motorcyclist suffered injuries in an early Wednesday hit-and-run crash on Lantana Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Euclid Avenue at approximately 12:10 AM.
Based on a report, the 33-year-old male rider was riding a Yamaha motorcycle northbound on Euclid Avenue at the time of the crash. Due to an unknown reason, a vehicle pulled out from Lantana Drive and struck the right side of his motorcycle. Subsequently, the vehicle fled the scene.
As a result, the victim sustained a fractured tibia and fibula. Emergency crews transported him to a hospital for treatment.
Witnesses said the white Honda sedan headed southbound on Euclid Avenue. This time, the description of the hit-and-run driver is not immediately available. However, the San Diego Police Department continues to investigate the case.
