Lee Cormier Jr. Dies in Motorcycle Collision on Mountain City Highway Near 80 Freeway
ELKO, NV (October 16, 2020) — A 63-year-old man died Saturday afternoon following a motorcycle accident on Mountain City Highway near the 80 Freeway.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Lee Cormier Jr. was riding southbound in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. However, for unknown reasons, he crossed over the center line and crashed head-on with a northbound Dodge Ram.
Due to the devastation, Cormier perished at the scene, 37 miles from the 80 Freeway.
Investigators haven’t released any information surrounding the cause of the accident but will examine the case more closely to determine the circumstances.
