2 Hurt Following Two-Car Crash in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (October 13, 2020) — Two men sustained major injuries Monday morning following an accident with a tractor-trailer at Olive Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle shuttling two men, traveling eastbound on East Olive Avenue, began approaching a westbound tractor-trailer.
Subsequently, the driver of the tractor-trailer attempted a left-hand turn onto Sunnyside Avenue, resulting in the two-vehicle accident.
Per reports, the two men riding in the car sustained major injuries when their vehicle crashed into the trailer of the big rig. Reports also noted that the driver of the tractor-trailer avoided injury.
At this time, alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the accident, but an investigation into who’d been at fault remains in question.
