Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car Near Rancho Drive and Rainbow Boulevard [Las Vegas, NV]
Person Dies in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 2, 2020) — A pedestrian died Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle near Rancho Drive and Rainbow Boulevard.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Lt. David Gordon, the incident happened around 4:15 a.m.
Near Santa Fe Station, an unidentified pedestrian began meandering the area. Under circumstances that demand more investigation, the pedestrian walked into the travel lanes and was hit by an oncoming car.
Soon after, paramedics transported the victim to University Medical Center. However, the victim died, despite receiving life-saving efforts.
At the scene, officers interviewed the driver, who they say had not been under the influence at the time of the crash.
