Semi-Truck Accident in Las Vegas at Washington Avenue Near A Street
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 2, 2020) — A driver suffered a leg injury after crashing a car into a semi-truck on Washington Avenue near A Street Wednesday morning.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 8:45 a.m.
Under unknown circumstances, a Toyota Prius collided with a big rig, wedging nearly half the vehicle underneath the trailer.
As a result of the crash, the driver sustained a minor leg injury.
At this time, it is unclear what drove the accident, but authorities encourage witnesses to come forward with information.
Driving around large vehicles, such as big rigs, should be taken with precaution. Stay out of their blind spots and switch lanes if possible. Semi-truck operators are also encouraged to drive with care and responsibility.
