2 Children Killed in Car Accident on Highway 93 Near Highway 60 [Wickenburg, AZ]
Children Die in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Wickenburg
WICKENBURG, AZ (October 5, 2020)—Two children died following Saturday’s three-car accident on Highway 93 near Highway 60.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the deadly incident happened around 5:19 a.m. on the northbound lanes.
Reports noted that a southbound pickup truck crossed over the center line and struck the axle of a northbound semi-trailer. As a result of the collision, the pickup crashed into a northbound van, shuttling a family of seven.
Unfortunately, two children under the age of 10 died at the scene while paramedics brought the surviving five family members to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the pickup truck driver stayed at the scene for investigations that point to DUI as a possible factor in the accident.
