Kevin Forsberg Dies After Colliding With Vehicle on Highway 14 Near Milepost 19
SANTA FE COUNTY, NM (October 5, 2020) — A motorcyclist died last Wednesday following a crash with a vehicle on Highway 14 near Milepost 19.
According to the New Mexico State Police, the incident happened on Sept. 30 around 11:20 a.m.
Located just south of Madrid, a driver of a 2009 Dodge pickup, heading southbound on Highway 14, had tried making a left turn onto New Mexico 14.
However, as the 17-year-old male driver crossed the northbound lanes, a northbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle struck the passenger side of the Dodge.
As a result of the impact, 32-year-old Kevin Ray Forsberg of Albuquerque died at the scene.
According to reports, the Dodge driver escaped injury and stayed at the scene for investigations.
As of late, the liabilities and circumstances of the crash require further investigation.
