One Dead in Tonopah Rollover Crash on 10 Freeway

 
TONOPAH, AZ (October 1, 2020) – One person perished in a two-vehicle rollover crash on 10 Freeway near Salome Road Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the two-car accident happened around 8:30 a.m. on the eastbound freeway.
 
Per troopers’ statements, one of the drivers had lost control of the vehicle while changing lanes and struck another car traveling eastbound. Subsequently, the car that was hit traveled off the road and into a culvert. As a result of the impact, the driver died at the scene after being thrown from the vehicle.
 
This fatal crash demands further investigation from authorities, including what caused the driver to lose control. If anyone has information surrounding this accident, please call local authorities.
