Rider Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries Following DUI Accident With Car in Reno
RENO, NV (September 25, 2020) — A 26-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries following a DUI crash on Mill Street at the 580 Freeway Wednesday evening.
According to officials, the crash that involved a motorcycle and a vehicle happened on the on-ramp to the 580 Freeway.
Arriving crews found a 26-year-old man, whom paramedics later transported to a hospital.
Per the investigation, the car, traveling westbound on Mill Street, attempted a left-hand turn; however, the eastbound motorcyclist struck the side of the vehicle, resulting in the collision.
According to detectives, alcohol does appear to be a factor in the accident; however, on whose part remains unclear.
