Gary Mark Dies After Colliding With Jeep on South Nogales Highway Near East Sahuarita Road
SAHUARITA, AZ (September 25, 2020) — A 67-year-old man perished in a two-vehicle crash on South Nogales Highway near East Sahuarita Road on Sept. 19.
According to police, investigations proved that a black Mercedes traveling northbound on Nogales Highway went off the road and rear-ended a Jeep parked on the shoulder of the highway.
Unfortunately, the Mercedes-Benz driver was not restrained in a seatbelt when the incident happened.
Shortly after, paramedics transported the patient—67-year-old Gary Mark—to a local hospital in Tucson where he died, despite having received treatment.
As for the driver of the Jeep, he or she sustained only minor injuries in the accident.
